The final lady of the season

As we transition into fall the summer grasses will fade and the more nutritious cool season will be on us. However summer and early fall are livestock show and fair season. On that note the Ft. bend county fair starts this upcoming weekend so go connect with your roots. With the blessing of our community we were lucky enough to add 5 more ewes to our flock. This go around we were lucky enough to take a big leap in quality and youth for our flock. The latest addition was the reserve grand champion in her class at the hill country dorper association show yesterday. While show genetics and pedigree are not really our goal quality almost always follows into the show ring. Foundation is the ultimate investment in life, love and in farming. This season has reflected quality in our foundation on all those fronts.
